What is there to say about myself?
My interest in Design and layout can be traced back to my youth and the creation of my own magazine from clippings of all my favorite magazines. The process of design would be changing right as I would be entering the field professionally. Getting a start in hand-coding and designing websites in HTML int he late 90’s I would develop a style that is clean, legible and timeless. While this doesn’t always fit the mold that some of my clients, they have soon discovered that my execution is far superior to any one “style” of design.
Printing pixels with ink.
Moving from websites into print was a seamless transition. With the proper programs and tools, switching mediums and media became second nature. Understanding the output “required” and the output “desired” is the first step to creating and completing a project properly. The creative ideas that fuel the process from that point are done so with the knowledge that the end result will be exactly as expected and not as hoped.
