There is no denying that the more options you have the better off the end result will be. In design, there has been recent trends to jump on the computer and design away – with the end goal in mind. And it works 89% of the time. The deadline is met – the consumers are happy – no harm / no foul. Except there is the 11% unaccounted for. That 11% could make the difference in consumers that are happy vs. repeat consumers.
By laying out numerous options and goals from the start, when the time comes to produce – a clear goal and strategy is set, will most options accounted for. Hoax number 2: You can never account for everything – each release should be a step closer to the identity of you and your brand. Never stop evolving and looking for options to better your image or consumer experience.
